Bryntysilio 2019 – copy

After another fun filled and challenging day, we have had a wonderful night at the disco.

We have been very lucky with the weather so far and have our fingers crossed that the sun will shine for our last day.

Another fantastic day had by all!

We have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and some stunning views on our evening night walk activity.

Another Amazing Day!

All groups have had a busy day, canoeing, raft building, gorge walking and rock scrambling,

The children have all worked extremely hard and have developed their communication and collaborative skills.

They are notably a lot more tired than yesterday evening after their fun filled day of adventure.

Bring on tomorrow!

What a brilliant start to the week!

After settling in and a bit of lunch the groups were kitted up and straight out on task. Two groups tackled Dinas Bran, whilst the other two groups remained on the site of Bryntysilio and carried out team building activities and problem solving.

They have all been introduced to the John Muir Conservation Award which they have all begun to work towards during the activities.

After our evening meal of fish and chips the children were not allowed to rest as we had more exciting activities. Half of the children undertook the night line whilst the others mastered their balance on the low rope course.

Hot chocolate and snack was served and all went to bed….

We are over the moon to report that for the first time ever there have been no tears and the children have all settled beautifully.

The countdown is on! – We are ready for an exciting visit to Bryntysilio, are you?

The Bryntysilio team would love it if you can share any memories or pictures of your visits to the centre over the years to help them create a new display to celebrate 50 years of Brytysilio!

Are there any families who have had 3 or 4 generations attend the centre over the years? It would be amazing to share past and current pictures and celebrate the amazing times spent at Bryntysilio.
